I Look Forward To...
Every month my scrapbook magazine comes and in the front there is a calendar with a few days that have ideas of what to scrapbook. I have decided that I would scrap all of their suggestions. It is a struggle for me. Some of the suggestions are more thought provoking than I usually like. Some like this page, do not require a photo. And ALL of them are about me, I am used to scrapbooking only the kid's activities and events. I have enjoyed getting to use girly embellishments and girly colors. But it was sort of funny that when it came to this page about our future child (NO I"M NOT PREGNANT SO DON'T ASK) Blue Yellow and Green were the colors that I chose (total BOY colors). I'll have to post the other pages on days when I don't get a chance to craft!

SU Extravaganza
This weekend I went to a Stampin' Up! Extravaganza with my Mom and sister-in-law, Kristin. We had a great time!!!
This is so cute. I love the strawberry and the 3 circle punches down the side.
Chipboard star with a rub-on.
This is so cute! The front section opens up to the side. The flower section with the brad flips up.
This little card is a sead holder the pink ribbon comes up and ties in a knot on the top
I love this gift bag. It was super easy. The brown flowers are embossed.

All Aboard the Birthday Train
I got the idea for this one from the SCS website. It was good to use some paper that I normally wouldn't use. I bought a huge pack of paper from Costco that I swear I'll never run out of and I don't use alot of bright colors usually in scrapbooking but I have been trying to use some up in my cardmaking as I have 2 huge 12X12 filing cabinets full of paper plus a whole rolling bag full also. Need I say that I AM a paper addict!?!

B is for Britany and Birthday
I made this card for my sister-in-law, Britany. I feel bad that I have been slacking on my posts, first I was out of town, then I spent several days on one project (the housewarming cards) and now I have a sick baby and lots of laundry. So I dug through my card box to find SOMETHING to post. This is one of my favorite cards. The main stamp set is Baroque Motifs which I love! The "day" is a CTMH set and the "b" is cut using the Cricut. I embossed the scrolling and layered vellum over top. Hope you like!
I have a project planned for tomorrow but I'm not sure I'll get to it. Darn:( Maybe on Wednesday.

Love Birds
This is the second thing I made while in AZ. I loved this set with the birds and the scroll (used as a branch.) I was feeling one step more creative than I did the first day. I started out trying to make a Mother's Day card. Then it ended up more as a V-Day card or a wedding card. So I will have to try again for Mother's Day I suppose.

Boys Boys Boys
I've had these nursery rhyme board books that the kids have ripped for years. I kept meaning to do something with them cause they are so cute. Today, I finally sat down and did it. It felt so good to complete something other than the last picture of AJ that I need to send over to Costco to be printed. (In a digital world there aren't just pictures hanging around, I just print what I need.) Usually, when I scrapbook the boys big albums it's a never ending project but these 2.5" mini brag books are perfect for completing in a day! Hope you enjoy:)
