2008 CKU Convention

Chipboard book: $2.00 This book has velvet papers with velvet iron-ons they are very cute. I actually bought this kit and did it at home today...it's so easy to do.
Chipboard Halloween Book: $2.00 This one has regular papers but with the velvet iron-ons
On Saturday, all day before Ayden's birthday party Kristin, Mom, and I went to the CKU Convention in Bellevue. We had an awesome time. We got to make some make and takes and do some shopping. It's always fun to go out and get some new ideas.

How fun, I wish I could have gone!!!:( All the stuff you made is so adorable!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the velvet circle albums, especially the winter one, how pretty!! I'm going to check into what it would cost to make those countdown calenders for our neighborhood gift!! Great job!!

Did you actually have to "iron-on" the velvet rub-ons?? With your big household iron? How did the velvetiness not melt off?

Yes I did have to iron on with my regualr iron. It's not real velvet so it stays fine...better to not have it as hot as I did but once it cooled it looked fine.
